Stones Community Trust

Sleep Out For Homelessness

The Trust would like to thank all those that joined us on Saturday, 13 July 2019 to sleep out at the stadium to raise awareness of homelessness and the work of Street Soccer Foundation and Stones Community Trust in supporting others.

We exchanged our beds for a concrete floor for one night to raise awareness of the growing issues of homelessness. The Stone Community Trust and Street Soccer Foundation are working together to deliver a 10 week academy programme using the power of football to change lives.

The programme is weekly sessions of football and mindset, empowering workshops to support people into work, education or training and get off the street for good.

The next academy starts on Wednesday, 31 July 2019.

We are also hosting another sleep out at the club later in the year and would love more people to be part of it - keep an eye out on our social media pages for a date and registration details.

If you have any questions or wish to get involved, please go to our contacts page and get in touch!

We Need You!!

The Stones Community Trust has been launched this season to develop the club’s community work in order to offer events, activities and support to local people - children, young adults, the elderly, the disabled and the disadvantaged.

In order to help us organise and manage these activities the  Trust now needs your help. We are looking for volunteers, who have some administrative experience, to assist our office based at the Gallagher Stadium.

This could be a half-day, one, two or even three days a week.  If you have the experience and spare time and are interested in making a real contribution to our local community activities then please send an email to our Chairman of Trustees and he will process it.

Thank you.
